FREE GPS Rentals - Hays Convention & Visitor's Bureau
The Hays Convention and Visitor's Bureau provides free GPS rentals for recreational use. The Magellan eXplorist 310 series GPS is specifically designed for geocaching, providing the user with directions, descriptions, and difficulty ratings for each cache. GPS units may be checked out from the Convention and Visitor's Bureau Building located at 2700 Vine Street in Hays, or reserved by calling (785) 628-8202.

Geocaching is an outdoor activity in which the participants use a Global Positioning System (GPS) receivers to search for containers, called "geocaches" anywhere in the world.
